The Devil's Toy added to Shorts Lineup!

The OHFF proudly welcome's Alex Lugone's "The Devil's Toy" to it's shorts lineup. The history of The Devil's Toy is unknown. It's a strange, wooden Jack-in-the-box recovered by a US army soldier at a Nazi concentration camp. 65 years later, two curious boys attempt to open the box kept secured with a padlock with horrifying results.
Alex Lugones is an independent filmmaker whose work is eclectic. His first short film, “My Letter to the World,” won best short film in the Westchester Film Festival and was shown at film festivals coast to coast. Emmy award winning writer, Greg Kendra called it, “…a loving tribute to all those who dream…” More recently, Alex has focused his attention on the horror genre.Alex is currently producing a horror feature titled, “The Super” (in post-production), which explores our fears related to invasion of privacy. He is also directing another short film this summer titled, “Scarecrow” and is currently developing two new horror features for production in 2011. (www.sprocketboy.com)
